Valentine with a wink

Hi everyone
Theres a challenge at the Paper Shelter Challenge Blog
Theme: For the one you Love

Well as the one I love has been very ill and we've gone through some realy rough times, I
figured a bit of a different "valentines"card would be in place.

Here's my make for this challenge.

I've printed the image with my laser printer onto strathmore toned paper and colored the image with Faber Castell Polychromos.
For the white I've used Luminance 001 because I like the white of that pencil better then the polychromo's one and a white gel pen.

The inside of the card says:

I totaly figured this sentiment matches us perfectly!

Bloobel Sweet Dreams

Good morning,

Yesterday in between study and writing essays I felt like sorting my weekly spread.
Because today is february first, this weeks spread is "1 sided"
Thursday feb 1st will continue after the month layout, so that'll be for the next
image that I want to colour.

Here's my make from yesterday, using the new release stamp

She fits perfect on this spread as tuesday I had a day of school and been sleepin most of the day :P
The right side of the spread has been made from vellum and washi tape.
The sentiment is rub on and I've choosen that one, to remind myself that it is ok to make mistakes and shouldn't be ashamed of it.
I'm a bit of a nerdie, like to get everything right the first time and like good grades, but sometimes before gettin things right, you need to make mistakes.
It's also a reminder to myself that it's ok to show others you make mistakes, that you're NOT PERFECT!

Hope you enjoy my spread

Planner Spread

Good evening everyone,

These days I'm so busy with work and school, that I've decided to use two planners.
I have a color crush mint, that I use for all appointments and as a work planner.
The Heidi Swapp Life is Good, I use for everything school related.
I do write down my shifts in there, but thats it, that planner is entirely for schoolwork and... coloring :)

Today I want to show you the spread I've made for Monday January 22nd 2018 - Sunday January 28th 2018.
I've used this cute unicorn from Bugaboo Stamps, it's such an adorable digi stamp.

I've used my Faber Castell Polychromo's for coloring and the white Gelly Roll 08 by Sakura

To add a bit more festive colors to the page, but still leavin space to add some notes, I've used 2 different patterns of washi tape.

I just adore this cutie, pretty sure this one will be printed more often.

Thank you so much for dropping by

Bloobel Digi Stamp Doctor

I've been working during the Christmas celebrations
I do not mind, love my work and love the residents on our floor.

However, when I came home from work on the 26th, I didn't feel too well, but figured
it'll be fine in the morning.
Needles to say, that didn't happen.
On thursday it was time to ring the docs and drop by, so as you can see in my planner, this
new Bloobel digistamp DOCTOR is a perfect fit.

Had 6 days off, but been in bed for all those days.
Unfortunately, I had to call in sick yesterday as eventhough the doctor gave me
anti-biotics, it didn't help much.
Went back to the docs today and goin in for a ct-scan tomorrow.

Hope you like my planner spread with DOCTOR

Purrfect Life Kitty 2

It has been a while, I know!!!!
Gosh, with school, work and the health issues of my daughter, there's never enough time to do everything you want to do :(
I have been crafting, but didn't keep up with the blogposts

However, today I want to share with you a card I've made using the digi stamp

There are a total of 4 Kitty stamps and a SVG set.
You can find them HERE
Both come with the clipart, if you want a quick card, you can always just print and cut the clipart to use on your project.

For my card I've colored the image using my copic markers
The papers are from a cheap paperpad, border die I bought for less then 2 euro at a cheap shop here in the Netherlands, it is similar to the dollar store and poundland.
The papers have glitters, but unfortunately you can's see that on the photo

I love these kittens,
here are a few other cards I've made with them

I think these would be perfect in your planner as well

Oddball Art Stamp Designs Technique a Week - Fabulous Foil

My turn again on a "Technique a Week"
This week, I want to show you what I've done with this awesome image from
Oddball Art Stamp Designs and some Fabulous Foil
Since I started my new job & school, I've been using my planner every day.
So I figured it was time to brighting that thing up a bit and not just read my school & working hours or about the tests I've had or to come

So I've made a divider
First I took a bit of thicker cardstock
It's slightly wider then my planner pages

Next I've printed two images on Strathmore Toned Tan paper with my laser printer
(To use the Fab Foil, the part that you want to be foiled, needs to be printed with a laser printer, or you can use Fabulous Foil Bonding Powder)

I wanted the stars and bubbles in pink, so I've used the fab foil pink

Cut out the bit that I needed to cover the stars and bubbles up
Next I folded a sheet of A4 printer paper in half and placed the image with the fab foil in between

Ran it through my cheap hot laminator

When it comes out, it looks like this

Carefully pull the bit of fab foil of your image and this is whats left

So you can see what it has left behind on the Strathmore Toned Tan paper

To colour the image, I've used Faber Castell Polychromo's

Now I've finished colouring, I went back to the piece of thicker cardstock, the one with the holes.
Placed some double sided tape around the edges

Placed my finished colouring on top of that and punched the holes again.
I think this is a realy nice addition to my planner.

I hope you enjoyed this "Technique a week" with Oddball Art Stamp Designs
